Learning Objectives:

1. Identify and critically appraise guidelines: Recognize high-quality, evidence-based clinical practice guidelines and the importance of assessing the strength, level, and quality of the evidence that supports each recommendation.

2. Assess applicability to patient context: Determine how a specific guideline applies to pediatric patients, considering factors such as age, specific conditions, and local context to bridge the gap between general recommendations and individual patient needs.

3. Develop implementation strategies: Identify and use practical strategies for integrating guideline recommendations into daily workflows, including tools and techniques to overcome barriers to implementation and facilitate evidence-based decision-making.

4. Implement a process of evaluation and improvement: Identify ways to establish methods for evaluating the impact of guideline implementation on patient outcomes and continuously refine evaluation and improvement.
