  1. Describe the epidemiology, clinical features, and developmental considerations of acne in pediatric patients, including preadolescent and adolescent presentations.

  2. Recognize and apply evidence-based treatment guidelines for pediatric acne management, including appropriate use of topical agents, oral antibiotics, and hormonal or isotretinoin therapy.

  3. Become familiar with emerging medication causes of acne and common acne mimics, including initial management strategies.
