    Dr. Sun is an assistant clinical professor at UCSF.  She received her MD from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.  She completed her internship, residency and chief residency in pediatrics at the University of California San Francisco. She is currently an assistant clinical professor and chief of the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine.  She is also the associate director of the Pediatric Pain and Sedation Resource Team and the medical director of the Acute Care Unit at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital.  She specializes in pediatric hospital medicine, pediatric pain and sedation, and acupuncture.
