Plus Goals

GOALS: PLUS residents will:

• Gain academic, clinical, and community partnership skills to be effective leaders in pediatric underserved medicine
• Describe current models of health care systems for underserved families and identify opportunities and barriers to care
• Explore models for designing and implementing innovative, systemic, and lasting changes to improve health outcomes in children
• Develop a foundation of self-reflection skills for understanding and leveraging personal strengths and areas of growth as they evolve over a lifetime of leadership and collaborations
• Build the PLUS community, serve as ambassadors for PLUS, and build fruitful collaborations with others working towards child health equity
