Welcome to Hematology/Oncology
Our division is an international leader in the treatment and research of pediatric cancers and hematologic disorders. We are home to the UCSF Brain Tumor Center and the regional pediatric Hemophilia Treatment Center, and we are part of one of the nation’s ten comprehensive Sickle Cell Centers.
We sponsor a highly regarded, ACGME-certified, three-year fellowship program, which trains the next generation of outstanding pediatric oncologists and hematologists.
The division is engaged in groundbreaking research in childhood leukemias, brain tumors, neuroblastomas, sarcomas, hemophilia, thalassemia and sickle cell disease.
A team of skilled, compassionate physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, social workers and adjunct staff assist in the coordinated care of children with cancer and blood diseases.
