Meredith Russell, DNP, PNP
Meredith R. Russell, AC-PNP, DNP, is a pediatric nurse practitioner with a background in endocrinology, clinical research, and education at UCSF. She provides care for children with Endocrine conditions at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, performs clinical research at UCSF, and delivers education and training at UCSF School of Nursing. DNP Russell has a particular interest in using health information technologies to improve the quality and safety of health care while lowering costs.
DNP Russell has a passion for providing advocacy and healthcare for underserved populations, as well as Endocrine care for children with complex conditions in the Neuro-Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT), and Differences of Sex Development (DSD) clinics.
Russell earned a master's degree in nursing at the UCSF School of Nursing, completing the advanced practice program to become a pediatric acute care nurse practitioner. She later earned a Doctor of Nursing practice (DNP) degree at Samuel Merritt University. She is an active member of the Pediatric Endocrine Society.
