Sabrina Fernandez, MD, IBCLC

Dr. Sabrina Fernandez is a primary care pediatrician who cares for children of all ages at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. In her practice, she sees children for routine primary care, health maintenance, and sick visits. Her interests include preventative care, quality improvement and medical education. Dr. Fernandez enjoys writing, and has contributed as a writer and editor for the "Healthy Baby/Healthy Child" column in the journal "Pediatric Annals". She has a great passion for medical education and is an Associate Program Director for the Pediatrics Residency Program. Lastly, she is dedicated to teaching and mentoring medical students and residents in her practice and she the Education Lead for the Acute Care rotation at Mt Zion Pediatrics.

Dr. Fernandez is an Associate Professor of pediatrics. She completed her medical degree at UC Davis School of Medicine, followed by residency at UCSF and chief residency at San Francisco General Hospital.
