Faculty Educators in the Department of Pediatrics

We support education programs across all learner levels, with a dedicated team of faculty and staff whose expertise in education is unmatched in the country. Our team is constantly working on ways to enhance and innovate how we teach, assess, and mentor our learners and the faculty who support our trainees. We also engage in grant-funded educational research and disseminate our work through publications in premier medical education journals.

Our department is committed to providing support and resources for all faculty who teach and mentor learners. We also ensure faculty who aim to focus their academic careers on education get mentorship and support themselves on this path.  Many of our faculty have completed formal training in educational scholarship through the numerous opportunities offered by the UCSF Center for Faculty Educators.
