The Division of Pediatric Critical Care at UCSF provides compassionate, high quality, state-of-the-art care to critically ill children in a multidisciplinary setting. This environment supports our central mission of educating students, residents, and fellows. In addition, our faculty are actively involved in a wide variety of research to advance knowledge in the field of Pediatrics.
Division Leadership
Jeff Fineman, MD
Division Chief of Critical Care Medicine
Dr. Fineman is a pediatric critical care specialist focused on diseases related to pulmonary circulation. His laboratory, funded by the National Institutes of Health, investigates disease processes in the body involved in pulmonary hypertension. He is the Principal Investigator of an NIH T32 research training program for pediatric critical care medicine and the Program Director of the Pediatric Departmental K12 program.
