Application Process

The research must be approved and sponsored by a faculty member of the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine. The sponsor will provide a confidential rating to the committee on the scientific soundness of the research, the importance of the research question, and how well the project addresses the specific purpose of the designated fund.

The applications should include an abstract of the research (no more than 300 words), a brief description of the background, rationale, aims and methods of the project (no more than 6 double-spaced pages), and an itemized budget request.

Applications can be submitted either in October or February to Cherrie Boyer, the Committee Chair. Please consult with Dr. Boyer for exact deadlines.
