Access to 18 self-study online modules on pain and symptom management, grief and bereavement, child development, and more
Upon successful completion of the course and 18 online training modules, you will become an EPEC-Pediatrics Trainer and receive access to:
EPEC-Pediatrics teaching materials library (22 PowerPoint presentations) in English, Spanish and French
Comprehensive teaching handbook for each module to teach PPC to interdisciplinary teams

The Train-the-Trainer conference is open to all clinicians with experience in PPC and/or previous attendance at EPEC-Pediatrics workshops/symposia.
Optional EPEC-Pediatrics Professional Development Workshop
Additional offering: This 1-day, hands-on small-group workshop (max.5-7 participants per group) at UCSF Mission Bay Conference Center is intended to familiarize participants with the theory and practice of adult learning and clinical practice improvement in teaching pediatric pain and palliative care. This is a required course for “Trainers” who wish to become a “Master Facilitator” with the possibility of joining the EPEC-Pediatrics faculty in the future. Individuals who want to further enhance their teaching and leadership skills are also welcome to attend.
