- Identify the two types of capillary endothelial cells that comprise the alveolar capillary network.
- Understand how capillary proliferation and differentiation is balanced during postnatal lung growth.
- Define how alterations to lung capillary phenotype contribute to the impaired lung structure observed in premature infants with bronchopulmonary dysplasia.
