Lydia Tinajero-Deck, MD

Many people have brought me to this place and for that I am grateful. I have the honor and privilege of practicing medicine at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland's Primary Care Clinic. With cultural humility, I go forward trying to listen to my patients and their families. My goal is to help my patients be healthy and live out their fullest potential to be all they are meant to be: good students, good citizens and enjoy their days with family and friends. This common goal, I share with all my colleagues at our federally qualified health center in Oakland. We advocate daily within our community and state to improve health care for kids. Teaching our residents and medical students rounds it all out to "pass it forward" this wonderful art of medicine and this honor to serve children in our community and beyond.
