ABOUT THE PROGRAM: Education in Palliative and End-of-Life Care (EPEC) – Pediatrics Funded from 2010-2017 by a US$1.6 million grant from the US National Institute of Health/National Cancer Institute, EPEC – Pediatrics has become the most comprehensive pediatric palliative care (PPC) curriculum world-wide. To date 1,517 clinicians from 100 countries/territories and 6 continents have completed training.

The EPEC-Pediatrics curriculum features state-of-the-art knowledge in pain and symptom management and training in the skills required to address key domains for pediatric palliative care. The program is designed to give pediatric healthcare professionals (incl. physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, psychologists etc.) the knowledge and skills needed to provide excellent palliative care to their patients and their families.

The face-to-face conference and the hotel will follow California Dept. of Health regulations (currently proof of full COVID vaccination incl. booster plus mask wearing).

In-person participants can opt to attend the conferences online via ZOOM if personal or pandemic circumstances change last minute.
