Feedback and Assessment for Growth | Department of Pediatrics Mini-Workshop Series

In this 60-minute mini-workshop, participants will learn about a major shift in medical education, from assessment of learning to assessment for learning. We will discuss how this shift affects the way students are graded during clerkships and how it impacts the framing of feedback for all learners, from students to residents to fellows. In addition, participants will practice techniques for delivering short, actionable feedback in the busy clinical setting that helps promote a growth mindset among learners.
