Learning Objectives: 

  1. Recognize the benefits and limitations of tools used for CF neonatal screening and diagnosis.
  2. Identify and treat the most common gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, and pancreatic complications of CF.
  3. Recognize that CF care in childhood may change in the setting of highly effective CFTR [cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator] modulator therapy.
  4. Consider how racial disparities exist for patients and that more diagnostic tools and therapies are needed for uncommon CFTR mutations.
