Laurence Cheng, MD, PhD

The long-term goal of my laboratory's research is to enhance understanding of human allergic disease through a combination of basic investigation in animal models coupled with translational approaches in patients with allergic diseases, including food allergy, atopic dermatitis, and asthma. Approaches in model systems include the use of genetically modified reporter/deleter mice coupled with cellular and imaging approaches, including intravital imaging.
